About Me
I'm Michael, a senior smart contract and blockchain engineer with 5+ years building production-grade infrastructure at the frontier of DeFi and Web3.
Most recently at EigenLayer, I led development of protocol-critical systems securing over $20B in TVL — including the slashing architecture, on-chain rewards distribution, and EigenAI's smart contract and payment infrastructure. Before that, at dApp Technology, I shipped across high-profile projects: Parallel Alpha, a blockchain-based trading card game where I built cross-chain token bridging, staking, and pack drop mechanics; and Anifty, a gasless NFT marketplace that was later acquired in a 7-figure exit.
I care about building things that work in the real world; systems that are secure, scalable, and used by real people at real scale. Whether that's a core protocol upgrade on live contracts with billions at stake or a consumer product that needs to feel seamless, I focus on getting the details right and shipping with conviction.

Senior Smart Contract Engineer
- Rewards V1 — Lead Smart Contract Engineer: architected the RewardsCoordinator contract for on-chain reward accounting and built the off-chain TypeScript/Node.js Merkle distribution service that computed and posted reward roots on-chain, enabling fully automated, auditable fee distribution across operators and restakers at mainnet scale.
- Slashing — Lead Engineer: led development of the AllocationManager contract and operator-slashing flows. Reworked staker delegation accounting and withdrawal mechanics, rigorously testing edge-case rounding behavior and adversarial scenarios.
- EigenAI — Lead Smart Contract Engineer: designed and deployed all on-chain contracts for a deterministic AI inference API service, and architected a dual payment system supporting both Stripe subscriptions and keyless x402 payments via on-chain stablecoins for autonomous agent access.
- All releases backed by comprehensive Foundry test suites covering fuzzing, invariant testing, and adversarial edge cases, alongside Certora formal verification and a $2.5M Cantina audit competition.
